Frequently asked questions

Answers to common questions about access, verification, expressions of interest, and how the platform works.

Access & invitations

How do I get access to VERIS?

VERIS is an invitation-only platform. You can request an invitation by submitting a brief profile – who you are, how you invest, and the entities you hold through. The Volt Capital team reviews every request and extends invitations where there is a clear fit. There is no public sign-up.

How long does it take to receive an invitation?

We aim to respond to every invitation request within five business days. Where the team needs additional context, we may reach out directly before extending an invitation. You will be notified by email either way.

Is there a waitlist?

Not in the traditional sense. Invitations are extended on a rolling basis as capacity opens and the fit is right – not first-come, first-served. Submitting a request places your profile in review; you will hear from us once it has been assessed.

Verification & eligibility

Who is VERIS designed for?

VERIS is positioned for wholesale and sophisticated investors under section 708 of the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth). This includes individuals with net assets of at least A$2.5 million, or gross income of at least A$250,000 in each of the prior two financial years, as well as SMSFs, family trusts, and corporate structures that meet the wholesale criteria. No offer detail opens to any member who has not passed identity verification and investor tiering.

What does the verification process involve?

Verification involves an identity check and investor tiering. You will be asked to provide proof of identity and, where applicable, documentation supporting your wholesale investor status – for example, an accountant's certificate, trust deed, or SMSF trust deed. SMSF and trust structures are welcome. The process is coordinated directly with the Volt Capital team and typically takes two to three business days once documents are received.

Investing by expression of interest

How do I invest in an offer on VERIS?

Verified members register an expression of interest (EOI) in any open offer on the rail. An EOI is indicative and non-binding – it signals your interest in participating and the amount you have in mind. The Volt Capital team then coordinates the formal documentation and settlement process directly with you. Nothing settles on the platform itself.

Are the return figures shown on the offer rail guaranteed?

No. Return figures shown on any offer are indicative only and represent the terms of the offer as disclosed by the issuer – they are not a promise, forecast, or guarantee of future performance. All investments carry risk, including the risk of loss of capital. You should read the offer documentation in full and seek independent financial and legal advice before making any investment decision.

Is this financial advice?

No. Nothing on VERIS constitutes personal financial advice, general financial advice, or a recommendation to invest. VERIS is an information and expression-of-interest platform. The Volt Capital team can provide context on an offer, but any decision to invest is yours alone. We strongly recommend you obtain independent financial advice before committing to any investment.

Custody & reporting

How are my holdings held and reported?

Holdings held with Volt Capital are recorded against the custody register. Your portfolio statement on VERIS reflects the positions in that register – what the statement shows is what the register holds. Statements are updated on a periodic basis and include position-level detail across gold, private credit, equity placements and venture.
